Anika was bred by Xion's Miniature Americans and is a typical naughty red merle with a lovely cuddly nature. Her favourite trick is nudging her nose under your hand so that you can stroke her head! She definitely has a cheeky merle side and enjoys racing around with the other dogs, sneaking kisses and occasionally stealing socks.
She has proven a natural in agility, having a great flowing jump and taking everything in her stride. She started competing in agility in January 2015 and won into grade 4 by February of that year. At the International Kennel Club Festival 2015 she qualified for the Medium Novice Cup Semi Finals, finishing in 6th place, putting her in the final at Crufts 2016.
We took a step back from competitive agility in 2016 so that I could pursue a career in veterinary medicine.
