ABOUT US
Hainan's Miniature American Shepherds is a small kennel based in Gloucestershire. Our dogs are part of our family and we have six Miniature American Shepherds in total! Fae and Anika are half sisters and Naimh is Fae's daughter. Mia is Anika's daughter and Anja and Ciara are Naimh's daughters. We also own a border collie called Heidi.
We chose the Miniature American Shepherd as we originally wanted an affectionate, compact dog that would be a much loved part of the family. Additionally, an eagerness to please, plus drive and speed were desired qualities, as I competed in dog agility. Heidi and Fae competed in grade 7 and Anika in grade 4 before I took a break to focus on pursuing a career as a vet.
Now our girls are much loved family pets, who enjoy long walks in the Gloucestershire countryside. Our puppies are grow, living with us as part of the family. We only ever breed when we would like to have a puppy to join our family and do our very best to raise them as dogs that we're proud of.
